Week 18 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Bottom ten in homegrown picks are Jets, Falcons, Browns, Titans, Raiders, Patriots, Commanders, Bears, Dolphins, and Vikings. Only two weren’t abject trash. The top ten were Ravens, Chiefs, Bucs, Packers, Eagles, Bengals, Bills, Colts, Chargers, and Cardinals. Four were unreal disappointments, four succeeded as expected, two are perennial losers with only spastic moments of success. A weird season for sure.

Week 17 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Add the Bucs to the most disappointing performances of the season alongside Chiefs, Ravens, Bungles, Colts, and Cardinals.

Week 16 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Seahawks have a fully functioning football program and talent pipeline. So do the Rams it’s just that it includes the most undrafted players in the league.

Week 15 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Too many free agent veterans on the roster means a bunch of L’s. Unless you’re the Texans, Patriots, Steelers, and Bears. Ravens and Chiefs are catching way too many L’s in 2025 but what else is new. Bucs and Colts quarterback situations betray their fit rosters. 

Week 14 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Steelers, Texans, Patriots, and Bears lead winning teams with percentage of snaps to elsewhere picks. The Rams play the most undrafted scrubs but they’re the first seed.  Harbaugh and Reid are super underperforming the talent pipeline is too good.  

Week 13 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Ravens and Chiefs are 0.500 but have the best homegrown picks percentages at over 70%. Is it possible they are simply exhausted from playing until late January every season? Serious underperformance for the former contenders.

Week 12 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Patriots, Rams, Broncos, and Bears … low quantity of drafted players but bunches of wins. When Vrabel and Johnson get their programs up and running they will be scary. Or they could do what the Rams do and draft some really talented players, pay some free agents, and develop bunches of undrafted players. As we all know all the Broncos picks were squandered Pre-Sean by GM George Paton, so who knows what the actual strategy is.

Week 11 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Patriots and Bears have rosters lacking draft picks and also they have great winning percentages. Bengals still forcing their tired old picks into the games.

Week 10 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): There are many losing teams with homegrown picks percentage above 50%. But almost all winning teams have a homegrown picks percentage above 50%. Of the 16 teams with a winning record, only three are below.  

Week 9 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): The worst homegrown pick percentages are the Vikings, Bears, Dolphins, Titans, Commanders, Raiders. Each going nowhere in 2025.

Week 8 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): John Harbaugh and Eric DeCosta built a high functioning talent pipeline at the Ravens. Their drafted players are currently getting 75% of the snaps. Easily the best in the NFL. The right players need to be drafted and the coaches must develop them. If all those players make it to the field but the team is a loser, what went wrong? Assuming the sports meritocracy is in place, it’s either overvaluation or weekly coaching failures. Or injuries. Few would describe this Ravens roster as being overvalued, on the contrary. If Lamar Jackson returns and the Ravens are still a loser, Harbaugh’s time is nigh.

Week 7 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): The Colts shall adorn every NFL-related headline this week. As soon as The Ketchup and Mustard Reign appeared to begin its descent, the Chiefs enter our daily lives once again.

[1/3 Signpost] Week 6 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Top 10 teams in homegrown picks percentage are high quality organizations. Most of the bottom 10 organizations are really good at collecting revenue share checks.

Week 5 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Bucs are a proper football program with a 4-1 record and top five homegrown roster. Commanders are 3-2 with a bottom three homegrown roster with a bunch of mercs that play hard.

Week 4 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Bills and Eagles have homegrown rosters and are 4-0. Ravens officially an outlier with homegrown roster but a bunch of L’s. Steelers win a surprising number of games considering how many mercenaries they hire.

Week 3 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Ravens homegrown picks are literally getting 80% of the snaps–they are underachieving, Vikings homegrown picks are literally getting 35% percent of snaps, their undrafted players get 28%–they are overachieving.

Week 2 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): The Rams are truly unique as 27% of snaps go to undrafted players and they are a 2-0 contender. The Vikings are 1-1 and 26% of snaps go to undrafted players, they are in trouble.

Week 1 Player Origin Snaps Report (The POSR): Ravens, Bucs, Packers, Chiefs, Eagles homegrown picks get over 70% of snaps. As it relates to team building, what are the Dolphins even doing anymore? Almost a quarter of Dolphins snaps go to undrafted players.
